Year 2 Application
To qualify for payment, participating organizations were required to submit a Year 2 application for the TI 2.0 Program through the AHCCCS Online TI 2.0 Application Portal by January 31, 2025 at 5 p.m.
Organizations prepared for the Year 2 application by completing the following tasks (if applicable):
- Finalized milestone documentation specified on the TI 2.0 Milestone Resources website and renamed the documents to align with Document Validation naming conventions guidance.
- Ensured that their organization met the program requirements. The TI 2.0 Eligibility Requirements website detailed the EHR/HIE commitment and Year 1 processes that needed to be implemented by 10/20/2024. Participants who submitted an application in Year 1 via portal or email had the option to change the originally selected eligibility processes and/or add a new area of concentration (new eligibility processes) during the Year 2 application process.
- Confirmed that staff can access the AHCCCS Online TI 2.0 Application Portal.
- Verified accuracy and consistency of each participating facility’s information in the AHCCCS Provider Enrollment Portal, ADHS Licensure, and the NPI registry. Specifically:
- Reviewed NPI guidelines to create a new facility NPI(s) (if needed). If a facility NPI was not needed, added all clinic locations to the “secondary location” of the group/organization NPI in the NPPES NPI Registry. Emailed the Enumerator for any related questions: customerservice@npienumerator.com.
- Reviewed current AHCCCS enrollment via AHCCCS Provider Enrollment Portal (APEP) and ensured effective dates and service addresses were accurate for each facility and individual provider. Submitted an enrollment application for any licensed clinics not already enrolled with AHCCCS.
- Unlicensed PCP facilities only: Reviewed ADHS Health Care Institution Exemption Attestation Form and applied for a facility license(s) as needed. AHCCCS followed up with participants if applicable.
Year 2 Application Resources
Participants used the Year 2 Application Desk Aid to submit the application.
Participants completed an updated EHR Commitment Letter and TI Participant User Acceptance Agreement Form with the application.
- The form is required to be signed by the Authorized Signatory who is an executive or administrator responsible for TI Program attestation. The signatory is responsible for the accuracy of each attestation and serves as the primary point of contact for payment-related information and post-pay audits.
- New in Year 2: Additional individuals privy to payment-related information can be added as a Delegate. Delegates are not required. Organizations are able to change the Authorized Signatory and/or Delegates by logging into their AHCCCS Online TI 2.0 Portal at any time.
